Bigfoot Bike Skills
Hello Bloggers,On the 27th and the 28th of November Waitemata had the Bigfoot Bikes Skills test.
On the first day Manukau another class in Te Waka Ako had there full lesson and Hauraki there full of the second day. But Waitemata had their first lesson (The Theory) on the first day, then had their second lesson (The Practical) on the next. In the theory we had to answer questions about bike and road safety. We also learnt that there are 4 things you need to check on a bike. The quick release lever (located by the wheels), the tyre pressure to see in the tyre was flat, both of the brakes and the seat height.
On the second lesson we had to ride around with out over taking like follow the leader. With that we combined it with Red Light Green Light, one time I didn't hear them say red light and almost crashed in to another person.😆
We did play a few games that were fun, one of them we had to balance a little bean bag on our heads and go round a course. We had a practice in a race the teams tide. Then we had a game where there's a big box and it got smaller and smaller until there was only one person left. I almost was doing well until someone went in front of me.😠Anyway I had a fun time and some people learnt to ride a bike.
