A Terrible Tragedy

About The 15th of March 2019

In case bloggers you don't know but on the 15th of March, something crazily bad happened in Christchurch. Someone went shooting in two mosques. The Linwood mosque and the Al Noor mosque. 50 people died and the youngest was 2 years old.😭

There are lots of people still injured in hospital. About 50 people went to hospital. I hope lots and lots of people donate to the mosques. On the 18th of march our school did a special assembly. We made some cards had a minute silence and planted a Kowhai tree in memory of the people who died. On the 22nd of march we had a fun day and near the end of the day we did the call to prayer and 2 minutes silence. Remember they are us.

SYNDICATE TREATY!!

Hi world,
In Te Waka Ako, Miss Daly has been busy creating the syndicate treaty. A treaty is a piece of paper that people make an agreement on and to make the agreement real they sign the paper. All of Te Waka Ako and all the staff had to sign it to agree on the laws of how to treat each other and our properties in Te Waka Ako. I have learnt to ask more questions and be more curious.

Chrome Music Lab

Hello Bloggers!

In Te Waka Ako we have been learning about music. Te Waka Ako has been doing it for a few weeks now. Miss McGrath, the Deputy Principal, has been generous enough to teach us music. There is a website called Chrome Music Lab. On Chrome Music Lab you can create different kinds of music with different tools. So far we have you Song maker, Kandinsky and Spectrogram. There are lots of other tools. When we finish our work sometimes we get to listen to it, sometimes I can even listen to my friends’ creations. I have had lots of fun with Chrome Music Lab.

Welcome To 2019

Hi WORLD

Hi and welcome to my first 2019 post. I haven't done a blog this year because we have not posted at school yet, so here is my welcome.
